Adobe Premiere Advanced Skills Video

In this lesson of Media, I went on Adobe Premiere to create a video with different transition effects used. Firstly I imported different music videos from the internet unto adobe premiere. I then trimmed down some of the clips and added the transitions. To get the transitions, I went to effects then video transitions and drag the effects I wanted into the appropriate parts of the clip. I believe this went well as I managed to use different transitions for all of them and I made it almost exactly how I wanted it to be. One of the clips I used went on for a bit too long so to improve next time I should shorten that clip and make all the clips end at an equal time.

Photoshop Leaflet Practice

In this lesson, we practiced making a leaflet on Photoshop. Firstly, I opened an A4 page with the measurements being 27 cm in width and 18 cm in height with a 300 cm resolution. Afterwards, I created lines using the ruler and added gridlines and created layers for the sides before filling them up with light colours. I then added margins, and created another layer for text. I also added pictures of London attraction below the text in different layers.

Experimentation for Poster.

When creating my very poster of Trafalgar square, I used the lasso tool to cut out everything but the sky, and added it to a second layer. Then I went to image, adjust brightness, and made it brighter.

This is how my photo looked by the end. I did this to increase the lighting as it all looked too dark. I kept the background the same as it worked well with the lighting

Reflection:

I believe this went well as I managed to change the lighting for the image effetely.  

Experimentation on final Poster

I have decided to make the colours of my posters match the colour of the background, just like my researched look. I did this my selecting the image, adjustments then hue/saturation then selected colourise. This made the colours match its background. I also polarized it aswell by going to the same areas as hue/saturation but selecting polarize instead. This made Trafalgar square look more illustrated.

Reflection on Experimentation

I believe my Experimentation went well as by experimenting with different ways of creating my FMP (leaflet, video) it allowed me to have different options to choose from in case my main idea didn't go well. I also learnt some new skills when experimenting with the different programs which could be beneficial in the future for other projects.
